Born from sketches in Victoria, BC, CouCou and Little Duck are original Love Bisous characters — each with their own shape, mood and little way of making ordinary things feel less ordinary.

CURIOUS. COZY. A LITTLE MISCHIEVOUS.
CouCou is a little black cat who has a habit of appearing where you least expect — peeking out, curling up, or quietly becoming the centre of everything.
With bright eyes, tiny pink ears and an unmistakable black silhouette, CouCou is soft, curious and just mysterious enough.
Sometimes hiding inside a star. Sometimes simply watching.
Always CouCou.

COUCOU'S STORY
A LITTLE HELLO AMONG THE STARS.
CouCou began as a little black cat who often felt most comfortable watching the world quietly from the side.
One night, beneath a sky full of falling stars, CouCou noticed a tiny star that had wandered away from its family. From somewhere in the dark came a small call — “Coucou?”
CouCou answered.
That simple hello became the beginning of an unexpected friendship. The stars welcomed CouCou into their world and gave the little black cat a glowing yellow Star Cloak, made from their own light.
Since then, CouCou has never really travelled alone.
Curious, gentle and just a little mischievous, CouCou wanders between cozy corners and starry places, always listening for anyone who might feel lost, quiet or in need of a friend.
At the heart of CouCou’s world is a simple idea: sometimes, belonging begins with nothing more than someone saying hello.

Little Duck started with a very simple idea: a tiny duck with short little legs, a bright yellow beak and a pair of mint-green boots.
A little silly, a little stubborn and completely comfortable being itself.
Little Duck brings its own playful point of view wherever it goes — from everyday objects to little journeys across Canada.
Simple shapes. Small details. A character you know the moment you see it.

LITTLE DUCK'S JOURNEY
VICTORIA IS WHERE THE JOURNEY BEGINS.
Little Duck is a curious little traveller with short legs, a bright yellow beak and a pair of unmistakable mint-green boots.
Created by Love Bisous together with Victoria, BC cartoonist Robin Crossman, Little Duck began its journey in Victoria — a little city on Canada’s west coast and the place it calls home.
But Victoria is only the starting point.
With curiosity, humour and an easygoing spirit, Little Duck is setting out to discover Canada — from coastlines and mountain towns to neighbourhood streets, landmarks, local traditions and the small everyday moments that make each place special.
Little Duck is never in much of a hurry. It likes to wander, look around, meet new places and experience Canada one little journey at a time.
Sometimes the adventure is a famous destination. Sometimes it is a rainy afternoon, a harbour view, a local shop or something unexpected along the way.
Born in Victoria and made for exploring, Little Duck celebrates the joy of travelling through Canada with fresh eyes.
Victoria is where the journey begins. Canada is waiting to be discovered.

Every Love Bisous character begins with an illustration.
From there, we think about how a drawing can become something you can actually hold, use, gift and keep.

A character might become a soft towel one day, a travel keepsake the next, or something completely unexpected after that.
That is part of the fun.

For us, character design and product design belong together.
We want the personality to stay recognizable, while the object itself still feels thoughtful, useful and fun to discover.
